The resort was much smaller in comparison to the DR Moon Palace which was a nice change. Guests were mostly couples, I would say in the 25-40 age range. Main lobby, indoor bar area, and outdoor bar area were all very modern and new looking. Room- We ended up on the 4th floor with a partial ocean view, so we were pleasantly surprised. Room and bathroom were both very modern…white with lots of mirrors. Nice sized deck with good comfortable seating. Pools- 1 major pool with swim-up bar. Several smaller pools. Water was very warm, but I guess that is to be expected when it is HOT out….it did not rain once despite the 60% chance of rain everyday we saw before we left. The wait staff in all the pool areas was great. They would walk by constantly and were very fast with drink orders. There was an activity every hour during the day. The pool entertainment people were very nice. Beach was not as bad as I was expecting…sure there was some seaweed, but I still thought it was pretty. Overall great time!
