Description

This Fabulous 664 room village-style resort is located next to a beautiful 18-hole course inside Playa del Carmen's exclusive resort area, Playacar. A tropical garden path opposite the RIU's Yucatan resort provides easy access to the resorts beach club, just a short stroll away. A beach shuttle is also available. RIU Club Tequila offers comfortably furnished rooms and a wide variety of bars and restaurants for fine dining. Exchange privileges with the other RIU Resorts in the complex expand your choices.

Activities

Things to do for the whole family at this resort and it's beach club abound with a wide variety of both water and land activities. Choose from 2 pools with an artificial beach entry, and a separate children's pool. At the beach club try your hand at, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, body boarding, snorkeling, or take a complimentary Scuba Diving demonstration lesson. On land play a game of tennis, table tennis, volleyball, work out in the gym, or relax with a Spa treatment. Children can partake of a variety of supervised activities at the 4 -12 yr. old Kid's Club. At night, enjoy the live entertainment and live music. For the nightowls attend the "La Lupita" night club.+

Dining

When hunger strikes choose from 4 A la Carte Restaurants and 1 International Buffet. Choose from Mediterranean Cuisine, the Steakhouse, Mexican, and the beach club restaurant and 24 hr. a day snacks and beverages. To expand your choices select a restaurant at one of the other RIU Resorts within walking distance. Choose from 3 bars on the property including the swim-up bar, serving both local and imported drinks.

Accommodations

Accommodations at the RIU Club Tequila consist of deluxe rooms and Jr. Suites. All accommodations contain, A/C, Satellite TV, minibar, liquor dispenser, in-room safe, full bath with shower, and balcony or terrace. Jr. Suites have full bathrooms with both tub, shower and bidet, and a separate sitting area with a sofa.
