Description

Opened on August 29th, 2008, in harmony with island architecture, the Riu Montego Bay Hotel lies along a shimmering beach surrounded by nearly 450,000 square feet of lush gardens. Less than three miles from downtown Montego Bay, 1.7 miles from the internacional airport. and practically next door to a shopping center, this island oasis offers wide variety of activities and deluxe accommmodations in a beautiful setting. With an on-site spa and golf nearby, it is the ideal vacation destination for families, couples or singles.

Activities

As far as activities enjoy 2 swimming pools with swim-up bar, children's swimming pool, windsurfing, sailing, kayaks, billiards, tennis, snorkeling, and a free scuba lesson. Scuba diving and scuba diving instruction can be accomplished at the resort for an additional charge. During the day and at night participate in a wide variety of activities and entertainment. In the evening participate in live shows and live music with entry into the "Pacha" nightclub. Offsite tours may be arranged through the resort.

Dining

Dining options include 3 A la Carte restaurants and 1 International buffet with theme nights. Choose from, Asian, Steakhouse, Italian, Japanese, and the "Mammee Bay" Gril. Take advantage of the 24 hr a day unlimited snacks and drinks. As far as quenching your thirst you have 4 bars to choose from including the swim-up bar.

Accommodations

Accommodations at the RIU Montego Bay Resort consist of deluxe rooms, Jr. Suites and Suites. Although I havent booked my vacation as of yet()Way to soon for 2010 rates. I had the best experiance working with Ultimate All-Inclusive Travel Inc. they called me back right away answered every little question (and I had a million of them)with patience and provided excellent all around customer service. I had a horrrible experiance with another travel agency and will deifniatley book my groups travel with this company as soon as rates become available.. (RIU Montego Bay here we come !!!)
