Costa Rica....one word....indescribable! It was the most unique, most untouched place we had ever been to and we LOVED it! The resort was great, impeccable service/ food/ spa. About the only thing it took us a bit to get used to, and you told us, was how the beach was not the focus so much as the animals. We were amazed when we took a tour of the resort via golf cart and were able to see all the animals and birds they had promised. It was definitely worth it. The Cloud Forest, there was a nature hike and BEAUTIFUL scenery but I would have loved to spend more time there to see insects and birds I will never see again. Nonetheless, it was an EXCELLENT vacation and we were asking ourselves "Do we really need to get back on the plane to Chicago?" Sadly, the answer was yes
