Description
Iberostar's most luxurious family resort. Paraiso Maya guests will enjoy the ultimate in all-inclusive luxury, from spacious all Jr. Suite rooms to attentive concierge service for those special needs, 24 hour room service, a-La-Carte dining in gourmet restaurants, and every imaginable activity for the whole family. The resort design echoes a quaint Mexican village, giving the feeling of an intimate inn but with all the amenities of a full featured resort. Guests also have access to a new shopping center and the state-of-the-art Convention Center.
Activities
Sports abound at the resort ranging from watersports to a variety of landsports. Watersports include, snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing, kayaks, scuba diving (additional cost), 5 pools with a waterpark consisting of a wave pool and a lazy river. Landsports include, volleyball, tennis on lighted tennis courts, basketball, archery, air rifle range, billiards, and ping pong. If sports are not your cup of tea, you can take Spanish lessons, dance lessons, or relax by the pool or on the white sand beach. At night enjoy the nightly entertainment with live music, weekly theme parties, dance performances and a disco, or take the complimentary shuttle into Playa del Carmen for some shopping. Children (4-12) may use the kid's mini-club from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM with a wide variety of supervised activities.
Dining
When hunger strikes, enjoy a variety of first class dining options from the International Buffet & snack bar to the gourmet Japanese, Steakhouse, Mexican, and Seafood A-La -Carte restaurants. If you are hungry in the middle of the night, 24 hour room service is available. There are 7 bars, including a swim-up bar, serving domestic and International cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks.

All rooms at the Iberostar Paraiso Maya are Jr. Suites nestled amid lush gardens. The rooms are located in quaint buildings to replicate a charming Mexican village. Each of the 432 elegant suites offer cable TV, A/C, in-room safe, complimentary mini-bar, coffee-machines, dvd player, iron, clock, and balcony or terrace. Bathrooms consist of bathtubs, hairdryer, lighted cosmetic mirror, and telephone.

We just returned from our fantastic vacation in Playa del Carmen / Riviera Maya, Mexico. We stayed at the Iberostar Paraiso Maya. We stayed for two weeks. We vacation every year with our three children, ages 12, 8, and 3. Without a doubt, this was our most wonderful vacation ever! We had a ball and enjoyed every second we were there. The resort was perfect, the food was great and the service was unparalleled! We would recommend this resort to anyone, from adults with no children to big families with any age children.
