Club Med Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, is a 75 acre resort set on an extraordinary half-mile stretch of silky white sand. This resort has 522 rooms, 2 pools, 2 restaurants, and 2 bars. Club Med Punta Cana has it's kids club with their own private pool and tennis court. A full slate of supervised kids programs are offered for all age groups, Petit Club Med (2-3), Mini Club Med (4-10), Junior Club Med (11-17). This resort also features the ATP/Club Med tennis camp. Club Med Punta Cana is perfect for couples, singles, and families who are tennis and beach lovers looking for a unique vacation.
Activities
Club Med Punta Cana is where Caribbean splendor and Latin spice combine for an unforgettable vacation. Choose from a number of water sports such as; windsurfing, sailing, and snorkeling. On land the activities continue with the ATP/Club Med tennis camp (additional cost), in-line skating, basketball, volleyball, softball, archery, and the flying trapeze. There is a seperate kids club with it's own pool and tennis court. Supervised Children's programs are available for all ages, Petit Club Med (2-3) with activities such as walks, outdoor activities, games, face painting, arts & crafts, and puppet shows, Mini Club Med (4-10) further divided into age groups (4-5), (6-7), and (8-10) with activities such as; fashion shows, circus school, face painting, sandcastle building and pool games, and Junior Club Med (11-17) broken int two age groups (11-13), and (14-17) with activities like; in-line skating, flying trapeze, beach hockey, beach volleyball, pool games, and a variety of sports. In the evening kids can participate in disco parties, teen dances, and pajama parties.
Dining
Dining is provided by 2 restaurants that reflect the styles and colors of the local culture in the decor. You can enjoy a variety of dining options including 3 secheduled meals and in between mealtimes, from late-riser breakfast and afternoon snacks to midnight munchies. Night time comes alive at the beach-side nightclub with dancing, merengue lessons, and evening entertainment. Stop by one of the 2 open-air cocktail lounges for a nightcap.
