Club med Ixtapa was voted one of the top 10 family resorts by the travel channel, and has undergone a multi-million dollar rebuild. Club Med Ixtapa is set on the Pacific coast of Mexico. This charming seaside All-inclusive family resort feels like an authentic adobe hacienda with traditional terra cotta tile roofs. Enjoy the endless activities that are available while the youngsters have their own fun with supervised activities at the children's club. This resort has 298 rooms, 2 pools & a kid's club pool, 3 restaurants, and 3 bar.

Activities

A vast array of both water oriented and land oriented activities await you at the Club Med Ixtapa. Water sports include; sailing, kayaking, and water-polo. Land sports include; flying trapeze, tennis, archery, in-line skating, basketball, volleyball, mini-soccer, softball, and a weight room. For the kids, Club Med Ixtapa has a fully supervised kid's program where activities abound all day long. The kid's program consists of; Baby Club Med (4-23mos), Petite Club Med (2-3yrs), Mini Club Med (4-10yrs. broken into age groups 4-5. 6-7, and 8-10), junior Club Med (11-17yrs. broken into age groups 11-13 and 14-17). Activities include; arts & crafts, circus school, face painting, treasure hunts, sandcastle building, puppet shows, finger painting, and for the older kids; skating, windsurfing, flying trapeze, beach hockey, beach volleyball and pool games. In the evening kids can participate in disco parties, teen dances, and pajama parties.

Mouth-watering delights await you at the gourmet restaurants at water's edge or indulge in succulent seafood at our panoramic eatery. Whatever your craving, the restaurants and the snack anytime policy will satisfy even the most finicky eater.
