Description
Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort & Spa is set on a 12 mile expanse of unspoiled powdery white sand beach which offers some of the Caribbeans best scuba diving. This resort is built to reflect the old world chateau-style architecture and overlooks Parisian cafes and formal gardens. This all-inclusive resort catering to singles, couples, and families of all ages, has 453 rooms and suites including quaint bungalow villas, chic rooms and suites with french doors that overlook formal gardens or the ocean. This resort also has 6 pools (4 with swim-up bars), kids pool with swim-up soda bar, 3 whirlpools, 10 restaurants, 12 bars, and a full service European spa.
Activities
Turquoise waters beckon divers and snorkelers to explore the ocean's enchanted beauty. Thousands of feet of protected natural reef create an underwater paradise. It is among the top 5 diving destinations in the world. Enjoy a variety of water sports including; scuba diving (12 years old +, instruction and equipment provided), snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking, hobie cats, and aquabikes. When it comes to making choices on land choose from activities including; tennis, volleyball, basketball, full fitness center, and full European Spa services (treatments at an additional cost).
Kids, ages infant-16, can have a break from their parents in an action-packed fantasy world filled with all the fun and games they love to play. The pirates island area includes the kids only pool with soda swim-up bar, waterslides, whirpool, virtual rainforest, known as the jungle games room, where kids can participate in ping pong, air hockey, billiards, and fusball, The Pirates Island area also contains 6 big screen TVs and a cinima. There is also a teen disco and a sports soda bar for pirates, pizza, pop and play (parents optional). All kids activities are professionally supervised and one-on-one babysitting is also available (at an additional cost).

Choose from 10 restaurants in a variety of settings including; Reflections (International), Arizona's (Southwestern), Kimonos (Oriental), Schooners (Fish House), Sushi Bar (Sushi), Sapodilla's (International), Giuseppe's (Italian), Bobby D's (50's style diner), Le Petit Chateau (French), plus Cafe De Paris (Coffee shop/light snacks).
Accommodations
At Beaches Turks & Caicos you'll find a variety of accommodations, in 12 categories, ranging from; deluxe rooms, up to the French Village three bedroom suites. All rooms include; two double beds and a single sleep chair or a king-size bed and double sofa-bed, hair dryer, safe, satellite TV, and coffee maker. Suites include the above plus; in-room bar, CD player, and robes. In addition the presidential two bedroom luxury suite also includes a kitchenette.
Beaches Turks and Caicos has exceeded our expectations. From before we even arrived, the resort was extremely accomodating, the service here is unbelievable. Anything you want is yours. There is a refrigerator in the room that is fully stocked with water and sodas and the room is cleaned twice daily. The food is spectacular, I had my doubts, being that this is an all inclusive resort, how good could it be? The first evening we had prawns and king crab, the second, we went to Teppanyaki restaurant and had shrimp, chicken, beef and mahi mahi. The next evening we went to a French restaurant and had black mussels, a warm goat cheese salad with a balsamic reduction dressing, beef tenderloin with a Bernaise sauce, and a cake made of dark chocolate bars, French cream and fresh strawberries and another desert with fruit and a sabayon sauce. The resort has a petite French cafe that serves specialty coffee drinks,teas, and freshly baked cookies and pastries. There is also a woodfired oven outdoor pizza cafe, a 50's style diner that specializes in ice cream sodas. Popcorn,cotton candy, and ice cream can be found almost anywhere. The drinks are top shelf as well, apple martinis, pina coladas, etc. The staff is amazing with the kids. They baked cookies with elmo, went to a birthday party for cookie monster, sang songs with Bert and Ernie, treasure hunts, pool parties and the list goes on. We have gone to pick them up and they wanted to stay longer. We scuba dive twice a day and the water is clear blue and warm, around 83 degrees. The fish are beautiful and we are able to dive on our own, which is fabulous. One night we took pictures by the beach during sunset (another wonderful service offered by the resort) and they came out beautifully. I could go on and on. I would highly recommend this resort.
