Activities
A wealth of activities await you at the Barcelo Karmina Palace, both on land in in the water. The resort has 8 pools for relaxing, or for the more active, aquarobics, or a lively game of water volleyball or water basketball. On the beach enjoy, snorkeling, kayaks, sailing, or rent a jet ski. For the more adventurous there is scuba diving and deep sea fishing in the Sailfish capital of the world. On land take a bicycle tour, play volleyball, take a dance lesson or a Spanish lesson, play a game of pool or a video game in the game room, or enjoy a relaxing Spa treatment. For the kids (4-12) there is the Karmina Palace Kid's Club where the activities staff keep the mini vacationers busy from morning until evening with a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities including their own mini-disco. While you are off doing your own thing, the kids are safe and sound at the Club doing theirs. At night shows are performed under the stars at the Mayan Dinner Theatre or in the Buddha Garden, or dance the night away at the open-air disco overlooking the ocean and open until 2:00 AM. The Disco is open to all guests 15 years old or older.

The range of dining options makes it possible to enjoy Signature A la Carte restaurants, delectable Buffets, convenient 24 hr. room service, and anytime snacks on the go. At the A la Carte restaurants choose from Italian Cuisine, Contemporary fare, and traditional Mexican Cuisine. Theme dinners at the Buffet are available throughout the week. A number of bars are available to quench your thirst with topshelf spirits included.
Accommodations
Barcelo Karmina Palace has 324 large, lavish suites. Each suite has a large balcony or patio and is adorned with local artwork. A/C, 2 27" TVs, mini-bar, and some with private balcony pool. The suites range from the 880 sq. ft. gardenview Jr. Suite, the 990 sq. ft. oceanview Jr. suite, the 1,100 sq. ft. 2 bedroom suite and the 3,300 sq. ft. 3 bedroom presidential suite. All the bathrooms have marble floors, his and hers sinks, oversized bathtubs, and separate showers.
